Aspenflower - I was going to use an Aspen-, just because I love aspen trees. -flower seems strange with it, but that's just me.
Umberfang or Umberstorm?

Ooh, Umberfang is good.
This is totally random, but for a rogue what about the name Lacebark? She'd be a cream-colored she-cat with eyes the color of sunlit sap. Lacebark is a shrub, I believe.

I think it's a fine name for a rouge :3
I am trying to think of a couple of rouge names myself. When I come up with some, I will post them to be looked at ^^

Speaking of rogues, would you like Iris and Ahmose to have kits?
I luff thinking of rogues. They're so fun to roleplay. :*

I would :3 That's why I was considering thinking of some names ; D

D'aww. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Iris and Ahmose with a baby carriage~
x33 I usually name rogues after plants. Hence Iris, Snapdragon, and Lacebark. Dewlyn was just a funky name I saw on a commercial that I fell in love with. Anastacia was a princess (I think) and Miko I came up with on the spot.

Falcontail: Yah, haha. There was this weird love triangle going on between him, Lunarwind, and Moonshine. Only Lunarwind was also in love with Fernshadow...
Miko are also Japanese priestesses. I know because Kikyo from Inuyasha was a miko and I had an obbsession with Inuyasha in sixth grade. x3
I usually name my rogues after birds or Greek/Roman gods.

I was thinking about some names, and I wanted to know what you thought.
Selene (cool) (venomous) (sarcastic) Sleek silver she-cat
Helios (fiery) (strong) (harsh) Golden tabby tom
Dalila (gentle) (quiet) (brave) Sleek golden and white she-cat
Gyasi (proud) (bold) (stormy) Strong brown tom
Osiris (cold) (vicious) (powerful) Solid black tom
Zaliki (dynamic) (rebellious) (intelligent) Pretty, fluffy siamese looking she-cat with clear blue eyes /or/ a small brown tabby with amber eyes.
Selene and Helios were named after Greek Gods :3 But mainly I like to name my rouges with Egyptian names.

I luff Dalila, name-wise and pelt-wise. She's like a mini copy of Iris. :*
I like Osiris's and Gyasi's names, too. Osiris has the uber personality, too. As for Zaliki, how'd she get siamese heritage? No one on Iris's side of the family does, unless Ahmose's does. :3

{She's like a mini copy of Iris. :*} I was thinking that she could be Iris and Ahmose's daughter ^^
Osiris is actually the God of Death or something in Egyptian.
{No one on Iris's side of the family does, unless Ahmose's does. :3} Zaliki isn't going to be one of their kits ; D

I'll probably have Iris kit on Saturday or Sunday. ^^
Aha, I just realized how close "Osiris" is to "Iris". x33

i'm making an apprentice, and i have no idea what to call him.
he's a small golden tom with pale blue eyes.
i've been thinking about; Brightpaw Reedpaw Chestnutpaw Copperpaw Goldenpaw
yes, most of them are awful, and i haven't even considered warrior names yet. xD

Lionpaw!
I like Goldenpaw and Brightpaw the best out of that list.

:D! Brightpaw was my personal favorite, but i wasn't sure if it would work very well. i feel like bright- is a weird prefix. xD;;
i like Goldenpaw well enough, so i guess this comes down to preference. oh no. i'm terrible at decisions. @w@;;

Awh, why? I like Brightpaw and you've already made a banner for him. x3
Do you need warrior name suggestions?

ahah, yeah. xD it was a pretty quick decision. x3
and yes, i have absolutely no idea what to call him when he's a warrior. D: brightfur would always work, i suppose.

Hey Petally, what do you think of these names that I just randomly thought of on the spot? xP
Molenose (curious) (understanding) (perfectionist) Mole- for his black fur and small form -nose for his tracking skills and curiousity
Rowanheart (strong) (kind) (shy) Rowan- for his russet fur -heart for his kind and loyal nature
Gracklestream (out-spoken) (bright) (silently unsure) Grackle- for her sleek dark brown fur -stream for her agility and grace
Volewhisker (observant) (empathetic) (tempered) Vole- for her light brown fur -whisker for how observant she is

Molenose: Eh, I'm not crazy about the Mole- prefix but it flows nevertheless.
Rowanheart: Awh, I love this name. It flows so well.
Gracklestream: I've never heard of grackle before. What is it?
Volewhisker: Win, win, win. I love this name

Grackles are evil birds. They chase off all the purple martins and dive bomb you when you go outside. Once my dad was trying to get them to leave so he cleaned out all of the bird houses, but he didn't realize they had eggs and dumped the nests. Even though I hate the birds, I feel sorry for them.
I have a question. So I posted Rustpaw, who is actually based on my own cat. I'm having issues with warrior names for him. I thought Rustclaw could work because he is polydactyl.
My favorite for him is Rustbelly, because of the tuft of skin that hangs down from his belly and because he likes to eat. I'm just not sure if that is an acceptable traditional suffix. You can use whisker, tail, ear, but I've never heard of belly.

Okay, another question to tack on...
I want to bring in a queen, and have one of her kits be Ibisekit. Ibises are like cranes, white, other than their heads and tails which are black. The kit itself would have the same coloring. My problem is when you say it, it sounds like a-biscuit. So, am I just being wierd?
The other kit would be Egretkit. She would be pure white with green eyes.
The mother would be pure white, and the father would be white also with black splotches.
Are the kit names good???

Post by frosty on Feb 4, 2010 18:45:06 GMT -5
That's funny Rachel. I was going to use an Ibis-. x33 It doesn't have an "e" on the end, by the way, c;
I don't know if cats can have white pelts and black heads. You'll have to research it and find me a picture. I know Dawn was going to use an Egretstep.
The kit names are fine. And no, you're not being weird.
I, myself, would like to bring in Aspenflower, Larchtail, Shrikefangfang, and a Ginger-something.
