"I want to run free."
That is the one sentence that urges six kits into their new life.
One night very close to their apprentice ceremony, one kit whispers this to a friend. He wants to change his life forever. He has devised a very undetailed plan that poses as the key that unlocks their rule-bound life. He wants to run free over barren lands, to explore new territory, to gain knowledge, but to still be a part of OakClan.
Foxkit understands that Sparrowstar will bluntly refuse to let six kits leave OakClan in the dead of night, without any real reason other than to 'run free'. OakClan needs apprentices, and the loss of six kits will hurt their ranks. But Foxkit still loves OakClan, and his parents and kin and friends. So why not bring some of OakClan with him?
Six kits will leave OakClan without anyone knowing but themselves. With deadly precision and planning, they'll slip out of the camp at the dead of midnight and set off on their soul search. They'll venture throughout unknown lands and discover things about themselves they never knew. As they age, each cat will forge a bond stronger than any other with their comrades. Thir friendship will thrive until it's ready to explode.
Until one night they feel a fierce force tugging them back to OakClan. By now they'll have aged enough to have become warriors, though they still go by their kit names. Each cat knows deep in their heart that it's time to return to their Clan, with a new strength glimmering in their eyes.
But the night before they leave to head home, each of them confides a secret in the rest. Something they have learned about themselves or something they have guarded close to their heart for moons. The six kits who set out moons ago are now full fledged cats with enough warrior experience to outmatch any senior warrior in their Clan.
They journey back to OakClan with a strong flame o passion burning in their bellies. The trip seems shorter on the way back somehow, as if StarClan themselves shortened the path home.
What will you reveal?
~
The Cats and Their Secrets Fallowkit (Dawn) - Foxkit (Dawn) - Sootkit (Rachel) - Confesses she is the cause of Hazekit's deafness. I love this sub-plot, and it is funny that it came to you while we were all so braindead!
The only thing I see that I would change is that Sootkit's secret is listed as Coalkit's.

Edited, aha I'm still braindead apparently. I want to add more detail to it before I post it for real though. Hmm. >.<

I thought of a name for this nameless plot! What about 'Our Time Now'? It's a song by The Plain White T's but it reminded me of this subplot. x3
Anyways, what's going to happen to the kits when they get back to OakClan? Will they become warriors or...?
Also, who's going to suggest leaving? I'm not going to have it be Sprucekit or Driftkit, just because A) I want it to be fair and B) I came up with the plot.

I like it! (:
I have no idea what they should be :/ Perhaps they should be named apprentices, because even if they know how to fight and stuff, they are somewhat shaky on the warrior code and stuff.
Foxkit could suggest if you like.

There's only one problem with that. Kin isn't around to do ceremonies. &&shiftyeyes
We can start the subplot, though, as soon as Rachel finishes band camp and Driftkit is accepted. :3

I meant after they returned they should be named apprentices before being named warriors. Not that they should become apprentices before they left.

I am cool with everything you are saying, but if we are going to apprentice them we need to wait for Auden to get back. The reason we time skipped them to 3 moons is because Swankit is two moons older and is their foster sister. I thought we were going to wait until she got back to make them older.
Other than that I like everything suggested. And I know I'm not on a lot, it is these 12 hour days! They are killing me! I'm just now back in my dorm and there is NO AC. None. We have breaks, but there isn't enough time to come to back to the dorm and RP. It should slow down but not until Saturday.

Auden is back. :3 And, we're not going to apprentice them before they leave. Dawn was saying that when they get back they need to be apprentices for atleast a couple moons. They can't go straight from kits to warriors. x3

Alright! And I realized she was back about 10 minutes later. My roommate thought I was crazy, cause I was all of a sudden freaking out. I'm gonna have to watch that

Okay - ideas!
Well, I know you said you want it refined, Frosty, but I actually think it's really good already!
Now here is the one idea that I think could work. Forgive me for linking everything back to AR, but it just popped in my mind.
If we make the kits leave at the same time as the AR cats, by coincidence, then OakClan might think that they left to join AR and would be more willing to help MarshClan to attack AR.
And that's all I've got for now... I'm still working on Coalkit's secret...

Well I am trying to think of things Fox and Fallow can admit to everyone... but I can't think of anything! Would anyone like to help me perhaps?
