Hey, so I was just curious about the whole ranking system. I wasn't sure how it worked exactly. I mean, I know at a certain number of posts you move up a rank, but what number of posts equal what rank?
Sorry, I'm just a nerd and like to know things like that.
On a side note I was also curious about what karma was. I just saw it and was curious on how you can get karma on a post.

Good question; this isn't something I've explained yet.
The rankings are determined by post count. The more you post (or the more active you are on SN), the higher you climb the hierarchy. c:
Aside Staff being the highest rank... The Godfather: 800 Elder: 600 Senior Warrior: 500 Warrior: 100 posts. Apprentice: 55 posts. Kit: 10 posts. Newbie: 5 posts. HAHA LOSER.: 0 posts.
Karma points are basically the currency we use here. If someone was selling graphics rather than giving them away, you could trade karma for graphics. Karma can be used to buy a trait of a character: blue eyes, bisexuality, no tail, and other things that maybe someday I'll be able to think of. Karma can be awarded to you for making a board board that become a hot topic, starting a conflict in the role play, winning a contest, or creating a plot for role play.[/size]

Wait - buy traits? I mean Streampaw has blue eyes, but I didn't do anything to give them to her. I have one karma point, and I'm not totally sure how I got it. :/
Is this right? So when you press the 'exalt' button people gain karma points, right? And I'm guessing if you press the smite button they lose them?
Are we forced to use this currency? Because I can't do graphics, like at all, so I can't really see how us non-graphic savvy people can get it without setting up something major. So does that mean everytime we want a cat with blue eyes we have to do something major in the plot?

No, when I say blue eyes I mean them being like an odd trait. A black cat with blue eyes; something that's a genetic mutation. Normal cats, cats whose pelts or eye color that don't require genetic mutations for an explanation, are fine.
I gave you a karma because you were given a council position: Streampaw. No, you are not forced to use this currency and you don't have to do something major in the role play. Something like Strempaw running away to join Risa, well, that would be a major plot twist for OakClan and I'd give you a karma point. Does it make better sense, or are you just more confused?

Actually, I changed it from 100 to 150. 100 posts was too easy.
